09/09/09  Instant Hobo has completed work on the followup album to Dirt Roads & Detours.  Once again the CD has been produced and mixed by James Thorp and Robert Lang of Big Bug sound.  Watch for updates on a title and release.   

03/02/09  Instant Hobo is recording tracks for the follow-up to Dirt Roads & Detours at Big Bug sound in Phoenix.  The album will feature many of the songs, such as "Rock Island Rocket" and "No Room For Pie", from the group's live show.  Thanks to all at The Spirit Room for hosting a terrific show.  We'll be back in June. 

01/23/09  Hope everyone is having a terrific new year.  Hobo has been enjoying some fantastic gigs at the likes of Club Mardis Gras, Fiddlers Dream, and tonight with Headline Bluegrass Band at the Goathead Saloon.  Thanks for your support.  This year's PF Changs Rock N Roll Marathon was as early highlight.  We were performing on McClintock Road in Tempe, just feet away from a traffic light, doing our best to encourage the runners on those final two miles.  Hobo was also featured on their promotional CD for the event.  Watch for more gigs in new places this year, such as the Spirit Room in Jerome, and the release of our second CD.

08/25/08 John Feula of Instant Hobo is offering guitar classes for the city of Chandler Parks and Recreation (Arizona) in September.  Visit www.chandleraz.gov for information on classes or pick up a copy of the Break Time catalog in the area.

08/20/08  Instant Hobo has been hard at work promoting the new album.  The band is also working on the songs for the next CD release for 2009.  New songs will include contributions from Kelly in addition to the tracks penned by John.  

06/19/08  Instant Hobo Meets the Midnite Movie Mamacita!  Instant Hobo teams up with Andrea Beesley-Brown, "The Midnite Movie Mamacita", for a showing of the 1963 Coffin Joe directed classic "At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul".  Hobo will play a set, including the song Coffin Joe, to kick off this night of horror!! 



03/12/08  Instant Hobo is happy to announce that the band has signed with Aezra Media Productions which will distribute the group's first album "Dirt Roads and Detours".  Aezra Records is an independent record label with national distribution which has featured artists such as Before Braille, Sera, The Toadies, Robin Trower and Deep Blue Something.
